TWELVE DAYS : AMANDA LOUGEE

Vermont native, LA resident, model, and creative force behind Vintage Virgin, joins us this year to share her cherished holiday tradition.

"Christmas Eve, my family and I make three different pies all together. I am in charge of the apple pie, my sister is in charge of the pecan pie, and my brother and dad make what is called a “mud pie” which is basically Oreos, ice cream, and fudge. When Christmas Day rolls around, we each try a sliver of the three pies. We like to make comments of who’s is best, and pick on one another’s skills in the kitchen. Every year, the mud pie wins."
