My mother was quite spiritual so we always we engaged in various Christmas spirit activities. We attended church on Christmas Eve and visited Grandma’s afterward. Opening one present at midnight was allowed, followed by a family breakfast before the main present opening in the morning. We are a quite big family, 7 to be specific. Our door had an open policy for anyone without a place to go on Christmas. It's a tradition I will always follow.
